About the game
Washed Out is an atmospheric narrative about a day in the life of an introvert. Al is supposed to go out and meet a friend, but is afraid of facing the world outside the house. Help Al discover that there is still beauty to be found, even in a colorless town.
This project was developed by students as part of the project 8-Bit of Bauhaus II at the Bauhaus-University Weimar in the period of 6 months. The idea was to develop a small game in order to study the game development process and develop our skills.
This game uses binaural (3D) sound technology, which requires headphones for an optimal experience.

I quite like the setup, artstyle and sound. It feels coherent and I like that in a game.
So as those foundational things are nice I'd appreciate just more content, expanding on the general idea of the game.
There is only one thing that really bugs me: The main characters walking cycle. And that is for two reasons: the movement speed of the sprite doesnt match the animations movement and it doesnt feel like a complete cycle.
That said I would love to see more :)
